LIST OF STUDENTS ON THE C&DAF SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2012/2013 ACADEMIC SESSION
Charles and Doosurgh Abaagu foundation envisions a world where security and dignity of youth and children is guaranteed has a mission of advancing the human security, dignity and education of youths and children in Nigeria. The foundation has developed different and effective strategies for achieving its goals which include mentoring, mental and psychological counseling, inspirational talks and educational scholarships; the provision of platforms to connect young people to share experiences, issues and challenges of the society which will foster creative thinking leading to innovative solutions, promote and develop cooperation, entrepreneurship and linkages among young people.
In the areas of education al support/scholarship, the foundation placed adverts in the local dailies, on the organizational website as well as in the churches and other open forums for students to apply for the Charles and Doosurgh Abaagu Foundation Scholarship; in all the applications that came in from the and having gone through a thorough screening process, three (3) of the students met the criteria (Applicants must be poor and indigent, Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria and Benue state in particular, Universities, Polytechnics and colleges of education, Applicants must have and/or show good academic performance (WAEC/NECO, Semester Exams) set for the scholarship. The foundation traveled to Benue state on the 1st February, 2013 for the settlement of the Scholarship for the students.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To mentor young people and give inspirational talks, give educational scholarship to the less privileged young boys and girls especially those in the rural area and most vulnerable but talented to pursue their educational career
To strengthen capacities of young people through education and empowerment thereby improving their lives.
To provide platforms to connect young peers to grapple similar development issues and challenges in the society
To initiate, encourage, promote and develop cooperation and all matters concerning the rights and welfare of young people
